Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons
  • 4 tablespoons
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar (I used 3/4 cup truvia baking blend)
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup lard (I used shortening)
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2-4 tablespoons milk (I did use 4)
