Ingredients

  • Bottom Layer
  • ½ stick (2 oz) unsalted butter
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 ¼ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup chopped almonds or walnuts, lightly toasted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
  • Middle Layer
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 4-8 drops of peppermint extract, according to taste
  • 1 or 2 drops of green food colour, if desired
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp of milk
  • Top Layer
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
