New Year’s pancakes

  • 10 hotcakes
  • 2 cups flower
  • ½ cup sourdough
  • 1 organic eggs
  • 1 1/3 oat milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa (I used black cocoa because it was the one I had)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Avocado oil for frying


    Mix the wet ingredients
    Mix the dry ingredients
    Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and whisk, leaving some lumps for the hotcakes to rise
    Heat a pan and cook the pancakes the size you want using avocado oil (never butter because it burns)
    Serve with fruit and maple syrup
