On the rare occasion that the kids do pick up an oatmealraisin cookie - they will pick out all of the raisins and eat the cookie without the delicious fruit
Each one has a full serving of fruit and oatmeal. Fold in raisins and cranberries with a wooden spoon. 1 cup of mixed raisins and dried cranberries. Makes 9 large cookies. Shape your dough into 9 cookies and bake at 350 in the oven or toaster oven for 15-20 min (keep checking on them after 10). 1 cup of mixed raisins and dried cranberries

They adore the oatmealraisin. I used ¼ tsp salt instead of the recipe's recommendation for ½ tsp, substituted chopped walnuts for the pecans (almonds would also work great)
