Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter, plus more for greasing the pan
  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks salt and fresh black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup real bacon bits or
  • 1 cup cold heavy cream
  • 25 - 30 minutes at 350 degrees until lightly golden. (I put ours in individual servings. Just to monitor the size of the serving. It was still too much.)
