  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup roasted red peppers
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 Italian sausage links, removed from casing (or 1/2 lb ground protein of choice)
  • 1 egg 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1/3 cup almond meal or ground flax
  • 3 tbs pesto
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup pizza or marinara sauce
