Ingredients

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash, cut in half and seeded
  • salt, pepper, & olive oil
  • 1 lb ground grassfed beef or turkey
  • 8 oz nitrite-free pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • garlic powder, salt, pepper & Italian seasoning, to taste
  • 2 cups organic marinara sauce
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • a few chopped fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
