The recipe below is a nut free version and was served for lunch this afternoon. It not only provided great flavor and taste to the buttermasala but also added the ever sought after orange/red color
I have seen many versions of this delightful dish but I just made minor changes to it. Add paneer pieces and gently fold in taking care not to break paneer pieces
Sprinkle the garam masala and kasoori methi (if using). I have reduced the oil, used low fat paneer, avoided onion and garlic but the gravy was top-notch
Normally, I use home made paneer, but this time I was in a rush, so used store bought one. Now add garam masala , mix and cook until the gravy gets all dried up and starts leaving the bottom of the pan
After that, fry the onions until golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute. Heat butter in a pan and fry the paneer cubes until golden brown
So now off to the recipe. So let say bye bye to the grinding and cutting part ( Tomato , Onion , Ginger , Garlic ) of the recipe and say Hi to " Marinara sauce "
Garam masala can be used instead of sambar powder. Out of the themes that were put up for this month, the Noonion or garlic gravies sure looked tempting and I readily signed up for it thinking it would be an easy affair
