Paruppu is a mandatory recipe for many special occasions especially in South Indian weddings which is the first gravy served for rice along with ghee followed by sambar, vatha kuzhambu, rasam and buttermilk

Heat an Appachati or a small wok greased uniformly with oil. Close the pan with a lid. Gently remove the dosai with a wooden spatula and serve hot with any Chutney or Dosai Milagai Podi
