Ingredients

  • 250 gms pumpkin (sitaphal)
  • 250 gms bottle gourd (1 small ghiya)
  • 1 orange carrot
  • 1/2 cabbage 1/2 cauliflower 1 capsicum
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 5 potatoes - boiled and mashed
  • 5 red onion - chopped
  • 6-7 plum tomatoes - chopped
  • 2 inches piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp roughly ground coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 - 3 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala (available in most Indian stores, we always prefer MDH for the colour it gives, reddish and not brownish)
  • 1 tsp kashmiri mirch
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Ghee
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Black salt
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing
