For breakfast dishes like upma, dosas, idlies etc, I always make the chutney little bit watery if the chutney is for rice I’d make the chutney little bit tight with as little amount of water as possible

Thengai chutney is another easy and best side dish fordosa, idli, chappathi , pongal and so on. My dad only likes the thick coconut chutney/ ketti chutney which is not very watery and it goes well for bajji, bonda, vadai and paniyaram
It is a nice accompaniment fordosa, roti, paratha, idli and curd rice. Eating two tsp of flax seeds every day is good for health as they supply some essential nutrients
