It turned out one of the best cakes I've ever baked as u see, the recipe includes almost everything a cake needs to be tasty and yeah, forgot about mentioning caramelized slowly baked pineapple slices
And that brings me to what I am talking about today, this incredible apple pineappleupsidedowncake that had to be sliced and tasted warm out of the oven with some ooey gooey caramel of course
I have made pineappleupsidedowncake already and blogged it but the caramel syrup was made with jaggery bcoz I brown sugar was not available at home then , But I wanted post the brown sugar version too so included this as a part of the marathon
Evenly arrange pineapple slices in the sugar. I don't cut my cherries but it's okay to -- I think they go flat side down if you do but I don't think it matters as long as they're all done the same way
My husband loves fresh pineapple, but doesn't care for it from a can. I had just bought a can of canned pineapple rings the week before seeing this recipe at A'lil Country Sugar , so of course I HAD to try this great recipe
This pineappleupsidedowncake is simple and so delicious. With a sweet brown sugar glaze, plenty of fresh pineapple and cherries, and a soft, moist butter cake
So I immediately thought what if I made a pineappleupsidedowncake, not like the ones of olden days with canned pineapple and maraschino cherries, but a really amazing fresh and well done version
