  • 2 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 2 tbsp Orange Zest
  • 1/2 cup Tutti Frutti
  • 1 cup Orange juice
  • 1/2 cup Cashew nuts (chopped)
  • 1/2 cuo Almonds (chopped)
  • 15 nos Whole cherries
  • 200 grms Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 nos Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp Clove powder
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 cup Caramel syrup (i used storebought)
  • If you are planning your cake on Wednesday, prepare the fruit mixture on monday.
  • Take the raisins, tutti frutti,chopped cashewnuts,chopped almonds, cherries in a bowl, add the orange juice, orange zest,caramel syrup, mix everything in a bowl and arrange in fridge for three days.
  • Sieve the flour with cinnamon powder,clove powder,nutmeg powder with baking powder
  • Preheat the oven to 325F.
  • Grease well the baking pan with butter and keep aside;
  • Beat together the butter and sugar in a bowl until they turns creamy, add one egg at a time and blend well.
  • Add the vanilla extract and beat well, gradually add the flour little by little and blend well.
  • Finally add the fruit and nut mixture to the mixing bowl and gently mix it with a spoon.
  • Pour this cake batter to the greased baking pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  • Slice and enjoy.
