Pooranam Kozhukattai – With Kadalai Paruppu Pooranam/Paruppu Mothagam/Kadalai Paruppu Pooranam Kozhukattai – Vinagayar Chaturthi Special

Ingredients

  • Water
  • 1 ¼ cup
  • Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp
  • Salt
  • ¾ cup
  • Grated Coconut
  • ¼ cup
  • ¾ cup
  • Wash
  • and soak the kadalai paruppu/channa dal for about 30 minutes.
  • Steam
  • the modakams/kozhukattais in idli cooker for about 10 minutes or until the
  • outside rice flour dough becomes shiny. Let it cool down for another 3-5 minutes.
