Ingredients

  • potato pockets
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 lb red potatoes, peeled and cubed (and rinsed in cold water till no more starch grains are visibile)
  • 1 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 clove fresh garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
