Ingredients

  • 2 cup servings
  • 5 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium to large yellow or white onion, chopped
  • 1 heaping tablespoonful of minced garlic
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon crushed and/ or dissolved
  • salt to taste ( I used about 2 tablespoonfuls )
  • pepper to taste ( I used about 2 tablespoonfuls )
  • about 2 quarts water
  • 2 - 8 ounce packets of neufchatel cheese (cream cheese will work just fine)
  • 2 & 1/4 cups non-fat milk powder (enough to make 3 quarts of milk)
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • about 1 & 1/2 quarts water
  • 320 calories 51 g carbohydrates
  • 7 g fat
  • 12 g protein
