Place potato cubes, leeks, bouillon, water and garlic powder in slowcooker. I received yellow potatoes and leeks in my Bountiful Basket and decided to use them to make a soup
Notes I liked having half of the onions added to the blended soup but if you prefer a totally creamy soup, add all but a bit for garnish to the crockpot when cooking the other ingredients

Clean the potatoes well, cut into one inch cubes or smaller, and add them to the slowcooker. Use a potato masher, immersion blender, or a hand mixer to “mash” the potatoes
Add diced potatoes, diced onion, minced garlic, bacon, parsley and chicken broth to the slowcooker. Immediately add the milk-flour mixture to the slowcooker and stir to combine
