Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice
  • 2 cups
  • Onion
  • 2 big sliced
  • Green Chillies
  • Tomatoes
  • 2 chopped finely
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder
  • 2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Prawns
  • 300 gms
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp
  • 1 tbsp
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp
  • Fennel Seeds
  • 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Cardamom
  • Star Anise
  • 4-5 times and
  • Add all
  • the ingredients mentioned under “marinate” to the prawns and mix thoroughly. Keep it aside for 30-40 minutes.
  • Wash the
  • basmati rice and soak it for 10 minutes. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  • Add about
  • 3 cups of water to the prawns, rest of the chopped cilantro and mint leaves.
