Ingredients

  • 16 small
  • 2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 tablespoons milk (I used unsweetened Silk almond milk)
  • 1/4-3/4 cup powdered sugar (opt)
  • additional milk and cinnamon for glaze (opt)
