Ingredients

  • 5½ – 5¾ C bread flour
  • ¼ C sugar
  • 2 (.25 oz) pkgs or 1½ tbsp Red Star Platinum Yeast
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • ⅓ C butter, melted and cooled
  • ¼ C pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1½ C milk, warmed to 120-130 degrees F
  • For the Filling
  • ¼ C butter, softened
  • 1½ tbsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cloves
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • For the Drizzle
  • 1 C confectioner’s sugar
  • 1½ tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp maple extract
