Add a sliced soft boiled egg to each and serve. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Dave thought this salad was unusual but also didn't hate it -- I suppose that isn't the most glowing recommendation but it certainly is a unique mix of ingredients

Whatever it is, as a keralite my favorite combo with Eggroast is Spongy and frilled appams . Normally keralites prefer this thick and mild spicy gravy with Appam, Idiyappam, Porotta, Chappathi or Puttu
