Recently I bought a pack of Rajma ( Redkidneybeans in English,Karamani or Karamani Payir in Tamil , Rajma in Punjabi,Hindi , Capparadavare in Kannada, Chikkuduginjalu / Nallachikkudu in Telugu ) to try some gravy/masala for rice
Heat oil in a pan , add jeera/cumin seeds,bay leaves, cinnamon,cloves, fennel seeds, pepper ,cardamom,star anise,ginger garlic paste,sliced onions and saute well
As I only make this Rajma Masala for chapathis and these RajmaTikkis for the kids snacks, I’m so glad that I got to try yet another Sundal with rajma for this Navaratri Season
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, amchoor powder and garam masala powder and fry for a few seconds
I absolutely love roasted red peppers. The black beans, quinoa, veggies and cheese give the filling a wonderful texture, and the creamy avocado lime sauce adds a satisfying decadence when you dig into these peppers
Place a redbean ball in the centre of flattened circle, wrap and fold up the sides and seal. We love these buns with sweet fillings and I made redbeanbao/baozi/pao/pau/paw
