Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut chips
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts (raw)
  • 1 T water
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins (added after cooking)
  • 2 1/4 Cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup ripe mashed bananas
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • 2/3 cups cold fresh grapefruit juice ( I use an inexpensive Cuisenart citrus juicer)
  • 1/2 cup cold sparkling water
