Ingredients

  • 6 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons dry vermouth (or chicken broth)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 large onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 celery stick, sliced
  • 4 mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 - 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or water)
  • 1 cup diced chicken, cooked
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 7 - 8 minutes Mix the flour and additional broth, stock, water...(I used broth cuz I ran out of stock) until smooth and stir into the noodle mixture.
