Ingredients

  • about 1 lb of sirloin or top round cut into thin slices.
  • 2 - 3 tbsp German style mustard, Dijon works too
  • 4-5 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • 1/4 red onion sliced
  • 4 small dill pickles, sliced
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper and paprika
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 3/4 cup red wine
  • 3/4 cup beef stock
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf , halved
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
