Salted Caramel Apple Pecan Cheesecake Pie

Ingredients

  • 1½ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp castor sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 75 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ) Preheat oven to 190C
  • 2 ) Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar and cinnamon.
  • 3 ) Add the melted butter to the crumbs and mix well
  • 4 ) Press the crumbs into a pie dish and up the sides of the dish.
  • 5 ) Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes and set aside.
  • ¾ cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 70 g unsalted butter
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 5 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 250 g cream cheese, at room temperature
  • ¼ cup castor sugar
  • 1 egg, RT
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
