  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup sour cream

  • 2½ cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 tbsp light corn syrup
  • ¾ cup heavy cream, warmed
  • 2¼ tsp. sea salt
