Ingredients

  • 500 g (1.1 lb) chicken breast, cut into small, thin strips
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1½ cup plain flour (all-purpose flour)
  • 2 tsp cornflour (cornstarch), dissolved in 2 tbsp water
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1 garlic clove, finely grated
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
