You’ll be happy to know, too, that this salad held up fully dressed in the fridge for 3 days. I can’t tell you what would happen after that because it wasn’t around that long.

Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad with Apples, Bacon, and Hazelnuts is a fresh, crunchy salad tossed in a creamy maple dressing. It's fall's finest!
Ingredients
For the salad:
1 lb brussels sprouts
1 medium
head fennel
1 Granny
Smith apple, cored and julienned
1 tablespoon
fresh lemon juice
4 slices
thick cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 green
onions, white and green parts, chopped thinly on the bias
Remove bacon, leaving drippings in skillet, and set aside on a paper towel. Layer brusselssprouts, red onion, hazelnuts, currants, and bacon on two salad plates
Add prosciutto with oil to sprouts mixture, tossing to combine. Add brusselssprouts, tossing to coat. In large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, cheese, lemon juice, mustard, anchovy paste, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and pepper
Toss with remaining shredded raw Brusselssproutsand toasted hazelnuts. Juice tangerine, reserving half of peel for zesting later, and add juice to salted sprouts
Using a food processor fitted with a slicing attachment, thinly slice the brusselssprouts. In a large bowl, combine the brusselssprouts, apples, pecans and cheese
A whole block of good Parmesan waiting to be shaved over the salad, even better. Toss your spinach, cheese, warm bacon, and lots of black pepper together in a bowl
Immediately before serving, add the apples, hazelnutsand squash to the saladand toss to combine. I'll just jump right to this very appealing not at all nauseating kale salad
Garlic toast, spread with bacon blue cheese butter, and layered with sautéed Brusselssprouts. I was really happy that I talked myself into them, because they were such a beautiful green color, and I was thinking how delicious some sautéed Brusselssprouts would be simply tossed over a dish of cacio e pepe

What I like about this salad is that it’s so rich in flavors, you have salty bacon, warm sweet apple, crunchy fresh salad, soft walnuts and some bruschetta to make sure your lunch isn’t too light
I decided to roast the Brusselssprouts like I normally do, then I just added in some bacon and blue cheese right when they came out of the oven so the blue cheese melted and became a little creamy
So really it’s “BrusselsSprouts, Cranberries, Pomegranate seeds, Pecans, and Cheese Salad”. This “salad” looks like Christmas, all red, green, and white… and it’s the perfect easy après-ski snack to make this season
I changed some of the ingredients, created a new dressing, and the result – a Kale andBrusselsSproutSaladwith Maple Vinaigrette – is the perfect thing to get me back on a healthy track
I like to let this salad sit for a bit so that the brusselssprouts can absorb all the dressing. BrusselsSprouts is one of those and we have enjoyed them ever since
