  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar (to balance the acidity or adjust to your taste)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound brussels sprouts (~ 4 cups shredded brussels sprouts), freshest you can find
  • 1/3 cup hazelnuts, lightly toasted and chopped
  • 3-4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled or chopped
