Ingredients

  • 8-10 ounces pasta (any shape, or whole wheat or zoodles)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  •  
  • For the chicken
  • 2 medium chicken breasts, pounded flat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  •  
  • For the Alfredo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or butter)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups chicken stock (or water)
  • 1 cup low-fat milk (or whole or skim or any milk of your choice)
  • ½ cup freshly-grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
