  • 4 cups – Idli rice 1 cup – Whole black gram without skin / ulunthu / urad dal without skin 3/4 cup – Flattened rice/ beaten rice / aval /poha 1/4 tsp – Fenugreek seeds / vendhayam / methi seeds Salt as needed Few ice cubes (while grinding )
