Ingredients

  • PASTRY
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lb shortening 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 cup ice water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • SOUR CREAM RHUBARB PIE FILLING
  • 1 egg 1 cup granulated sugar ( use 1 1/2 cup if only using rhubarb in your pie)
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • CRUMBLE TOPPING
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 4-5 cups fresh or frozen rhubarb
  • 3 cups of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
