  • 2 cans (28 oz each) diced tomatoes
  • 4 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste
  • 18 ounces water
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  • 2 small yellow onions, finely diced - about 2 cups 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon crumbles bay leaf
  • 2 Tablespoons turbinado sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
