Ingredients

  • 1 lb pinto beans
  • water
  • 3-6 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • salt to taste
  • 2 slices of thick cut bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of this great Adobo seasoning blend
  • 2 inches of water. Lay the bacon over the top of the beans. Add all your spices into the beans and cook on low for a long time, 12 hours or more.
