  • 1 1/2 ounces cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound whole unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
