  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons milk, warmed slightly
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 recipe of basic Yeast Doughnut Dough (above)
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • chopped pecans, dates, raisins, etc (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons coarse Turbinado sugar
