Ingredients

  • Yeast dough
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 package dry yeast (10 grams approx)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 3 pounds Italian or German prune plums
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 toasted Zwieback or breadcrumbs slightly browned in the oven
