Every aspect of the enchilada is explained in precise detail, from thehomemade tortilla base to preparing the ingredients and assembling the final dish
Though there aren’t pictures of every food dish, which I would prefer (but I realize is entirely not realistic,) the pictures that are included are really representative of the food in thecookbook
I am lazy and do not have time to drive all the way to the supermarket and get a pack of flour tortilla… I have therefore decided to goggle for a recipe of flour tortilla … I am rather unsure if it is possible to homemade and whether it is difficult to prepare
I won this cookbook through The Taste Space nearly a year ago. The book is written to give easy directions to teach not only recipes, but also techniques that can be carried over to all types of cooking
With the influence of the Europeans wheat flour is also used to make tortillas and are very popular. I still remember the very first fajita I had and it was love at first bite
My favorite ones are dogged-eared, written in (I like to add in my own little changes, when I made the recipe, for who etc), and stained with various ingredients (a cookbook protector is on my wish list)
I had the opportunity to review one more cookbook before the year ends. I have long been enamored of that cuisine, but I have little, okay no practical experience cooking authentic Indian food
Sometimes with great success others with not-so-much. So when I was approached to review a cookbook that does just that, I was more than excited to see what it had to offer
