Let’s start this week off with a cookbook that was sent for me to review that’s perfect for all of you with vegetarian teens or kids who want the family to participate more in Meatless Monday
Walnuts prepared in this way look and taste just like taco meat. Most of the time I get lazy and make chia pudding with Vanilla Living Harvest Hemp milk which starts with a ready-made hemp milk that is also wonderful but not nearly as creamy
All I know is that I can’t quit this cake. I don’t know why it’s so irresistible – maybe it’s the subtle spice, maybe it’s the tender moist texture, maybe it’s the hint of orange, maybe it’s the fact that it’s handed to me by a barista with the most adorable dimples, or maybe it’s all of the above
We are so excited to have you join us this year. Peaches, pears, nectarines and grapes are the perfect addition to almost any meal to help jazz up your routine dishes and flavors—whether it’s in a pear, ham and grilled cheese Panini, nectarine margarita or grilled peaches or just a plain old snack
I have been excited to share this week’s recipes with you for a bit, and now here we are. I tried to keep it balanced this week, so there is some added sugar, but it’s summer, so ice pops are basically NEEDED to get through when you don’t have AC and you live in SoCal
This was, by far, the easiest and most tasty recipe this week. The asparagus soup is probably the one that could give a run for its money on the tasty side, although I am not sure which one would actually win, but this meal, WOW
ThisWeeks Pick. I am so excited to celebrate this Holiday season. At the moment it feels as though this baby is going to be living inside me forever as I wait day after day for something to happen, but hopefully by next weekend I will have some wonderful news to share with you all
Yes, there will be a next time for this recipe. This is the best caramel icing I have ever made. I did not realize until I typed this that I was supposed to wait until it cooled
This drink is how I intend to welcome in summer's last hurrah. This libation's caramel flavor add just the right thing to my back to nature version of this summer classic
Flavoring fabulous foods since 1994 (Terra Americana)
) came up with the idea to put together this great series called Cooking For One. She gathered up seven other bloggers, and the idea is that each of us a post a recipe that falls under the category of cooking for one (schedule of recipes at the bottom of this post)
This new series that I started last week has actually gotten me to meal plan. I mentioned this in last week's post, but I have never been a meal planner
Like any bread or roll, you do need to plan ahead and give yourself some time to make the dough and let it rise (and buy the rice flour if you don’t happen to have any), but this one that is worth the effort
