ThakkaliSadam, this is the favorite mixed ricein our home, I have already posted one version of it ( the one that I make more often ) here in the blog, I don't use any masalas, garlic or coconut milk in that rice, just plainseasoning and green chillies for spice

Addingtamarind paste is purely optional, the tomatoes I get here are not as sour as the ones inIndia, so my MIL suggested me this idea and it does total justice to TomatoRice
