I considered mixing chocolate chips into the cake batter, too, and as amazing as that would be, I decided against it (more due to the fact that I didn’t have enough chocolate chips for both the cake and the frosting than for the fear of chocolate chip overkill, if such a thing even exists)

I made a Frozen ChocolateMousseCake to take to a grown up dinner party. Pairs well with chocolate, caramel, butterscotch, toffee, coffee, chocolatemousse, chocolate pot de creme, cigars (I’ve heard)
An hour later I opened fridge to find a perfectly set mousse on top of a perfectly chocolateycake. And maybe I would make a white chocolatemousse to put on top
