Make sure you don’t overbeat the batter or yourcakewill turn out tough and/or rubbery. All you need are basic ingredients to make a cake – butter, sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, milk, all-purpose flour, baking powder and of course M&M’S minis milk chocolate baking bits

You can also cut the cake into half and fill the frosting in the middle and cover with frosting. Mix everything together until smooth, either by hand or by using an electric mixer at slow speed
Especially if your saucepan has a black bottom, you won't be able to see the real color so turn off the heat when it looks just slightly golden, otherwise, it will be dark and bitter
For those of you who don't normally bake gluten free or dairy free, you'll be relieved to note that the recipe doesn't call for loads of weird and wonderful ingredients, andyou can find everythingyou need in any decent supermarket
This quest was not as easy as you would think. Several of the things I found out along the way. Other cakes get their flavor from different ingredients, such as spices, applesauce, carrots, chocolateand more, but yellow cake has to hold its own relying on achieving great taste with just butter, eggs and vanilla
