  • 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups (400 g) white granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs at room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1¼ cup (300 ml) whole milk
  • 1 recipe of vanilla buttercream
