Add the vanillaand the half of the vanilla bean (this was my first time using a vanilla bean and i realised that there are small black stuff in the cake batter
Mix in salt, vanilla, rose water, cardamom and beet juice. vanilla. My little birthday cake almost tasted as good as the chocolatecakewith sprinkles that my grandkids made for me
Add sugar gradually and beat until meringue reaches firm peaks form. Gently fold the remaining meringue into the yolk batter in two separate additions until well combined
In another small bowl, mix the vanilla into the milk and set this aside as well. Pour ganache over the top of the cakeand, with a cake spatula, smooth the top of the cakeand allow ganache to spill over the sides
With the mixer on low, add in the orange zest andvanilla, followed by the eggs one at a time. Add in the vanillaand rose and continue beating until the frosting is silky and smooth
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the pecans, bourbon andvanilla. spiked chocolatecake, oozing pecan pie surprise centre, silky and light brown sugar frosting, crunchy candied pecans
If you’re brave enough to try your hand at Swissmeringuebuttercream frosting instead of a traditional buttercream then your icing will look much smoother (or so I’m told)
I tried to make it a bit easier for him with this cake, by using pineapple rum filling, in lieu of using the same vanilla cream cheese buttercream that the cake is frosted with

It is just a simple, elegant, one layer cakewith rich butter and white chocolate icing. I topped mine with a few decorations but that was more to jazz it up a little to look more like a special birthday cake – they are certainly not necessary and the cake wouldn’t be left lacking if you decided to omit them
