Keep the flame in low, add grated vazhakkai (raw banana), cook for 2 mins Add the grated coconut, mix well and turn off the flame.
Take some rawbanana. Add in the cooked broken banana and season them with some salt. Heat oil and fry all the ingredients on a low flame till they are nicely golden
Grated coconut and rawbanana gives enough moisture to form the dough. Then comes grated coconut, saute for few minutes but we should not completely dry roast the coconut

If you do not have roasted gram dal, then you many use chickpea flour (besan/kadalai maavu)). Now add the gratedvazhakkai or rawbanana, salt and grind using the whip button at regular intervals till everything gets mixed well
