Ingredients

  • 2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup cane sugar (we used Zulka)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 tablespoons Earth Balance Vegan Buttery Sticks
  • 3/4 to 1 cup of chopped fresh or dried figs
  • 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup of Mimi
  • Directions
  • Adjust oven rack to lower-middle position and preheat oven to 400 degrees
