Ingredients

  • 2 and ½ cups of all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ cup of vegetable shortening
  • ¾ cup of ice water
  • Filling
  • 1 tablespoon of avocado or vegetable oil
  • 1 large red onion – chopped
  • 2 cups of sliced white button mushrooms
  • 3 cups of chopped fresh spinach
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 and ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 14 ounces of firm tofu
  • ½ cup of water + 4 tablespoons of flax seed mixed well
  • ½ cup of nutritional yeast
  • Pepper to taste
