Ingredients

  • 4-5 Lady's finger/Okra/Vendakkai (Chopped for 1 inch length)
  • 2 Tomatoes (Finely chopped)
  • 1 cup Toor dal
  • A Gooseberry size Tamarind
  • 1 tbsp Sambar powder
  • A spring or Two Curry leaves (Chopped finely)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (Chopped finely)
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • A small piece Asafoetida/Hing
  • 3 tbsp Oil
