Since it was for a birthday I went ahead andcolored some white frosting I had in the fridge. Was not sure how to decorate this cake as it was just so perfectly white
When I started catering I always had requests to make redvelvetcake so I came up with a recipe but of course way back then I put tons of butter and sugar in it

But I just like the combination of black andwhite, and sometimes I like to add splashes of red, pink or yellow to make it look really pretty and classic
For some reason or the other I didn't make this cake until now, first I didn't have the food color, second I was baking something else and this got put off
Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, red food coloring and vinegar to jar and secure lid. Cut off rounded top of one of the cakesand use that cake as the bottom layer
Sprinkle with brown sugar, white granulated sugar and cinnamon. Add cake mix, flour, vanilla and salt. of active dry yeast with warm water in the bowl of a stand mixer
