Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds pork spare ribs, cut country style
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 large cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup red wine (I used an Old Vine Zinfandel)
  • 1 cup water
